Fall Fun

We drove up the canyon to see the leaves changing and decided to pick some leaves for Annie to take to school tomorrow. We made fall bouquets with the leaves and grass we gathered.

We are definately not florists:) But it was fun!!

Annie's 1st Day of Tumbling with a Surprise!!

Yesterday was Annie's first day of tumbling. Before class all the kids were running around and playing with each other when Annie fell. This is a regular occurence around our house so I didn't think too much about it other than she wouldn't walk for the rest of the day. I couldn't believe she would miss out on her first day of tumbling to fake an injury especially since she was so excited to go. Well, it was still the same this morning when she woke up so I decided to take her to the Dr. Afterall, I was not going to carry her around everywhere if there wasn't anything wrong. I guess she was right because she has a compression fracture below her left knee. She gets to wear a huge leg splint and put no pressure on it for one week then she can put her tip toe down. Holy cow, I will be one tired Mama!!The splint goes from her mid-thigh down to her toes.
We opted out of crutches figuring we would have a 2nd broken leg, so I will be pushing her in a stroller. She will have to take the stroller to school so her teacher can push her around class. I'm sure Mrs. Sagers will be thrilled about that. LOL

The Mayor

Annie always likes to know what movie is playing at the Main Street Theater, so as we were headed down the road today she asked me what was the movies were. I told her, and when she realized they were neither one "kid" shows she said;

Annie: "Mom, I wish dad was the Mayor."
Me: "Why?"
Annie: "Because then he would decide what movies were playing."
Me: "I think the owners of the movie theater decide that."
Annie: "No, because the mayor is the boss of the whole city."
Me: "Ok, maybe you're right:)"

The funny thing is that the primary elections are this Tuesday for a new mayor and a few city council members. LOL

Cragun's Blessing Day

We blessed Cragun Sunday, September 6th. It was such a nice weekend with lots of friends and family to share it with. We are so grateful to those who traveled so far to be with us and meet our Cragun. This 2nd picture is such a "McNeill" look:)
I have no idea why I would even post this picture
with me looking this way:)
This is Grandpa McNeill. I have thought Cragun was a spittin' image of Newt since he was about two days old, and once they were together it was even more obvious.
Grandma and Grandpa McNeill.

I have more pictures from the lunch but I put Wes in charge of the camera and all he took are close-ups of about five different people and I don't think they want their lonely face all over my blog.
