Craft Fair

Here are some pictures of the stuff Wes and I made for the craft fair. My cousin Keri made all the stuff that has vinyl including the large "We are Family" frames and the large calendar below. I love the calendar-sooo cute!

8x8 Black Frame

5x7 Brown Frames
40" Scroll (also have 24")

8x10 Red Frame
Soooo cute!!

Peg/Hook Shelves

5x7 White Frame

The Favorite
Old Window w/ Hanging Frames
(Still have some of these available)

We made a lot of the 5x7, 8x8, and 8x10 frames. We had different colors and styles. If you see something you like but need a different color or style or whatever we can make it for you. We have already done several custom orders. My cousin Keri has done a million craft fairs and has a lot of different ideas. She does all things vinyl so let me know if you want her number.

Halloween '09

So this week has been extremely busy for me! Besides getting ready for Halloween, I let Annie have a "friend" party for her 6th Birthday. We had a costume party on Friday even though her Birthday is today. My Birthday was on Wednesday and I wanted to post about that day and maybe I still will, however, my computer has been running really slow lately and I don't have much patience to wait for the pictures:) Enough writing, here are some pictures from Halloween.Spider decoration for Annie's party!
Cragun's 1st Costume Party!
Annie waiting for her guests to arrive!
And, Caprie!
I'll post more of her Birthday pictures later,
but here are the actual Halloween night pictures.
My cowgirls and their little frog:)
Here we are at Trunk-or-Treat.
Not pictured: Janey, A.J. and Griffin.
(duh, we didn't even get a picture of everyone together in their costumes)
Wes had to work at the motel so I made him at least wear a cape.
He was thrilled:)
Awww, but Dad is our Superman!!

And Cragun is our Frog Prince!!

Annie's Drive Inn

Almost every time Wes and I work outside, Annie likes to stay inside while Caprie plays with us. Annie has always loved to play waitress so the past couple times we have been outside she sets up her restaurant:) We love it because we can always get a refill of ice water!
Here she is ready to take our order.
Here is a close-up of the signs. One of them says, "The McNeill Inn for Food-OPEN". The other two are pictures of Halloween decorations.

She even had free samples of candy corn. However, she informed me I could only take one at a time. LOL. Last time this cup said, "TIPS".

Annie's Drive Inn is complete with Halloween decorations and a very elaborate menu including anything from the fridge or cupboard:)

There is also outdoor seating where you can sit and enjoy your mixture of Ritz crackers and potato chips!

Sharing Time

Yesterday in Sharing Time, Sis. Bradshaw (Janet), was asking the kids about Priesthood Blessings. I can 't remember her exact words but she asked, ''What happens when your Dad gives you a blessing?" Annie raised her hand and when Janet called on her she said, "He cries!". Man, it sounds kinda funny right now but I wanted to make sure I wrote this down somewhere. It was so sweet! I even teared up a bit:) I want Wes to know how grateful we are that he is worthy to hold the priesthood. He is such a good example to all of us and we love him so much!! I could go on but then this might turn into Testimony meeting. LOL!!!

Can't keep her busy!!

Caprie is such a busy-body. She is always finding things to get into. From the fridge to the bathroom, she is always making a mess. My mother often reminds me how much she acts like her Aunt Olivia!! Uh-Oh!!!
We still love her though:)
This is her INSIDE her toy box...
after she scattered books and clothes all over her room!
She is so cute that sometimes all I can do is laugh.
Bad parenting, I know!

Until she comes to me with scissors and locks of hair in her hand!!
Yes, twice in two days she has given herself a haircut.
It's not too terrible.
You can see most of it cut out of this little pig-tail.
Awww, my little beautician!! (Did I spell that right??)

Fall Fun

We drove up the canyon to see the leaves changing and decided to pick some leaves for Annie to take to school tomorrow. We made fall bouquets with the leaves and grass we gathered.

We are definately not florists:) But it was fun!!

Annie's 1st Day of Tumbling with a Surprise!!

Yesterday was Annie's first day of tumbling. Before class all the kids were running around and playing with each other when Annie fell. This is a regular occurence around our house so I didn't think too much about it other than she wouldn't walk for the rest of the day. I couldn't believe she would miss out on her first day of tumbling to fake an injury especially since she was so excited to go. Well, it was still the same this morning when she woke up so I decided to take her to the Dr. Afterall, I was not going to carry her around everywhere if there wasn't anything wrong. I guess she was right because she has a compression fracture below her left knee. She gets to wear a huge leg splint and put no pressure on it for one week then she can put her tip toe down. Holy cow, I will be one tired Mama!!The splint goes from her mid-thigh down to her toes.
We opted out of crutches figuring we would have a 2nd broken leg, so I will be pushing her in a stroller. She will have to take the stroller to school so her teacher can push her around class. I'm sure Mrs. Sagers will be thrilled about that. LOL

The Mayor

Annie always likes to know what movie is playing at the Main Street Theater, so as we were headed down the road today she asked me what was the movies were. I told her, and when she realized they were neither one "kid" shows she said;

Annie: "Mom, I wish dad was the Mayor."
Me: "Why?"
Annie: "Because then he would decide what movies were playing."
Me: "I think the owners of the movie theater decide that."
Annie: "No, because the mayor is the boss of the whole city."
Me: "Ok, maybe you're right:)"

The funny thing is that the primary elections are this Tuesday for a new mayor and a few city council members. LOL

Cragun's Blessing Day

We blessed Cragun Sunday, September 6th. It was such a nice weekend with lots of friends and family to share it with. We are so grateful to those who traveled so far to be with us and meet our Cragun. This 2nd picture is such a "McNeill" look:)
I have no idea why I would even post this picture
with me looking this way:)
This is Grandpa McNeill. I have thought Cragun was a spittin' image of Newt since he was about two days old, and once they were together it was even more obvious.
Grandma and Grandpa McNeill.

I have more pictures from the lunch but I put Wes in charge of the camera and all he took are close-ups of about five different people and I don't think they want their lonely face all over my blog.
