Heaven in a Packet!!

In all of my pregnancies, I have suffered from heartburn. In fact, I went through my ENTIRE first pregnancy not knowing that it was heartburn, and that it could be treated easily. I just assumed it was just part of being pregnant. But, I later learned the symptoms of heartburn and so I was very prepared when the next baby came along. Prevacid was my drug of choice for a long time until now. Here is why I decided to switch. I absolutely hate taking a pill of any kind. It makes me "gag" just thinking about it. So when heartburn sets in, I do not want to wait any amount of time for it to go away. But, instead of taking a pill, I just suffer through it, hoping it will go away before the Prevacid had time to "kick in" anyway. Call me crazy, but in all reality I am probably just lazy. Ok, ok, now to the story of the discovery: After Sunday dinner at my Mom's, my usual hearburn set it. I decided to complain about it, and my Dad suggested I try the NEW Tums QuickPak. I immediately turned him down but he insisted that I try it. He convinced me that he is the same way ("gaggy") about taking pills, let alone chewing a "chalky" Tums, and that it works great for him. So I took the plunge and now I am a huge fan!! It really didn't taste bad at all. It was berry flavored and it dissolved quickly and I didn't feel the urge to drink a gallon of water afterwards. I owe my new addiction problem to my Dad!! Thanks, Dad!!

Window Cleaner Recipe

I always love it when people blog about a new recipe or just something they love to use. So, when I stumbled across this recipe a couple of weeks ago and I thought I would give it a try. I haven't mixed it up yet, because I want to use up the rest of what I have first. Let me know what you think if you try this.

1 Gallon water
2 C rubbing alcohol
2 Tbs ammonia
2 Tbs Ivory liquid dish soap (this is supposed to be the secret)

Enjoy!!

Sneak Peak!!

Wes, Annie, Caprie, and I went to St. George on Saturday to take some pictures for Jeff and Wendie. It was 70 degrees and I really did not want to come home!!! We ended up taking 320 pictures LOL, but we had a lot of fun. Here are a few that I like. I can't wait for them to get married. We love Wendie and Skylar, and would probably trade them for Jeff if we had too:)
