Heaven in a Packet!!
In all of my pregnancies, I have suffered from heartburn. In fact, I went through my ENTIRE first pregnancy not knowing that it was heartburn, and that it could be treated easily. I just assumed it was just part of being pregnant. But, I later learned the symptoms of heartburn and so I was very prepared when the next baby came along. Prevacid was my drug of choice for a long time until now. Here is why I decided to switch. I absolutely hate taking a pill of any kind. It makes me "gag" just thinking about it. So when heartburn sets in, I do not want to wait any amount of time for it to go away. But, instead of taking a pill, I just suffer through it, hoping it will go away before the Prevacid had time to "kick in" anyway. Call me crazy, but in all reality I am probably just lazy. Ok, ok, now to the story of the discovery: After Sunday dinner at my Mom's, my usual hearburn set it. I decided to complain about it, and my Dad suggested I try the NEW Tums QuickPak. I immediately turned him down but he insisted that I try it. He convinced me that he is the same way ("gaggy") about taking pills, let alone chewing a "chalky" Tums, and that it works great for him. So I took the plunge and now I am a huge fan!! It really didn't taste bad at all. It was berry flavored and it dissolved quickly and I didn't feel the urge to drink a gallon of water afterwards. I owe my new addiction problem to my Dad!! Thanks, Dad!!

Hey, when do we find out the sex of that baby????
Glad that you found a new cure!! It sucks to be hurting.
I am going to have to try it. I struggle getting down my vitamin so one less thing would be great.
You kill me! I'm glad you discovered dissolving tums!
Smokey won't swallow a pill either. It drives me crazy. He totally gags.

Hey Victoria, Sherry Winckel here. I don't know if you remember me from the good old days at Hurst, but I hope you do. I hope things are good for you and I hope to get back in touch.
