Yesterday was Annie's first day of tumbling. Before class all the kids were running around and playing with each other when Annie fell. This is a regular occurence around our house so I didn't think too much about it other than she wouldn't walk for the rest of the day. I couldn't believe she would miss out on her first day of tumbling to fake an injury especially since she was so excited to go. Well, it was still the same this morning when she woke up so I decided to take her to the Dr. Afterall, I was not going to carry her around everywhere if there wasn't anything wrong. I guess she was right because she has a compression fracture below her left knee. She gets to wear a huge leg splint and put no pressure on it for one week then she can put her tip toe down. Holy cow, I will be one tired Mama!!
The splint goes from her mid-thigh down to her toes.

The Mayor
Annie always likes to know what movie is playing at the Main Street Theater, so as we were headed down the road today she asked me what was the movies were. I told her, and when she realized they were neither one "kid" shows she said;
Annie: "Mom, I wish dad was the Mayor."
Me: "Why?"
Annie: "Because then he would decide what movies were playing."
Me: "I think the owners of the movie theater decide that."
Annie: "No, because the mayor is the boss of the whole city."
Me: "Ok, maybe you're right:)"

Cragun's Blessing Day
We blessed Cragun Sunday, September 6th. It was such a nice weekend with lots of friends and family to share it with. We are so grateful to those who traveled so far to be with us and meet our Cragun.
This 2nd picture is such a "McNeill" look:)
I have no idea why I would even post this picture
with me looking this way:)
This is Grandpa McNeill. I have thought Cragun was a spittin' image of Newt since he was about two days old, and once they were together it was even more obvious.
with me looking this way:)
I have more pictures from the lunch but I put Wes in charge of the camera and all he took are close-ups of about five different people and I don't think they want their lonely face all over my blog.

Annie has lost a tooth, Hooray!
On August 12th, Annie finally lost her first tooth! She has been asking me for about six months when she will start to lose her teeth. I have been telling her not until 1st grade just in case she didn't lose any right away. But, one morning she woke up and I notice her two bottom teeth were crooked!! It scared me at first, LOL, but then I realized they could just be loose. Sure enough they were both loose:) Only a few days later, Wes pulled it out for her. I thought that would be a disaster, but no tears were shed so I think we are OK.
We are a few days away from starting Kindergarten. She has Mrs. Sagers and will be going in the mornings. She said she couldn't wait to tell Mrs. Sagers about her tooth because now that means she is REALLY ready for Kindergarten:)
We borrowed Grandma's Tooth Fairy Pillow for the night.
It has a small pocket for the tooth and you hang it by your bed.

The pocket.

The ribbon across the front says Tooth Fairy Visit Me Tonight.
she said, "A thousand dollars!!" Uncle Jeff was visiting and we both looked at each other and laughed. I told Annie if the tooth fairy brings you a thousand dollars, then Uncle Jeff and I were going to start pulling our teeth out too. It was pretty funny.
