Buck Fever

After the shooting range we went for a drive in the grove. Of course we saw several deer, but then we saw a group of 4...no 5...no wait...8 bucks!!

The pictures are dark but you can see most of their glowing eyes.

Most people know the "grove deer" are pretty friendly, so I decided to get out of the car to get better pictures. I was pretty close to this buck but he came even closer after I took the picture! I had to get back in the car because Josh started to panic. He kept saying, "Vic, get back in the car!...Just get in!...He's going to horn ya!" It was so funny.

Since they walked right up to our windows, Dean decides he's going to feed them Peanut Butter M&M's! (Of course these M&M's were specially formulated for wildlife) It was awesome!!

Dean almost made us sign a document for proof that this was his hand. There were four of us in the car so I hope that is enough witnesses:).

Here is Caprie getting ready to tell them goodbye. More like making a mess:).

She started to cry, so Dean is wiping her tears. Cute huh?

See, she feels better now.

Dean is getting the bikes ready to head home.
Crying again...you can tell she loved having the extra attention. Thank you Dean and Josh for coming to visit!!! Come back soon!!!

They're Back!!

Everyone was pretty tired when they finally got back.

Wes wasn't beat up too bad. He took this picture so I'm pretty sure he wanted to show off.

But after they showered and ate, they were ready to go again. We decided to go to the shooting range. What a thrill!! Dean and Josh brought several different guns to use. It made me nervous but they let me try. Good thing they have patience!!

Girls just wanna have fun!!

The girls always play pretty good together. Caprie wants to be doing whatever Annie is doing. Annie is usually a pretty good sport to let her tag-a-long. This is how they kept me busy while their dad was gone. They watched TV, danced to the Mp3 player, read books to each other, wrestled, and wrestled some more.

Leader of the Pack

Wes and two of his brothers have decided to go on a short motorbike ride on the Piute ATV Trail that runs through Beaver. Here are some pictures of them getting ready. It has really been quite entertaining watching them act like they are teenagers again:). This picture was taken last night....already trying on their backpacks!! They stayed here at the motel so I knew they would be up late laughing and joking with each other, so I told Wes he could go have a sleepover in their room if he wanted. He said no, but I know he wanted to!!

Josh and Dean getting ready...with Caprie's help of course! F.Y.I.: These two do this a lot more than Wes so I'm sure he'll be trying hard to ride with the "big boys". I just hope he comes back in one piece! Even a couple pieces would be okay, lol!

You have no idea how much fun you can have when the McNeill brothers are in the house!

This is Josh...enough said!

Awwww, helping Wes get ready.

How sweet!!

They are staying at Butch Cassidy's Hideout Motel & Cafe in Circleville tonight. It's so ironic* because their first cousin, Kelli Cummings, owns and operates the business with her husband Mike. They will have a good time. Wes and I took the girls over there last Saturday to check the place out. We had dinner then we were able to visit with Kelli. The place is darling and it was really great meeting her!!

*some of you may not know, Wes and I are managing the Best Western Butch Cassidy Inn here in Beaver. Thus the irony. F.Y.I.: It is owned by Dr. Robinson and his family, we are just the managers.

Dad

Josh let the girls sit on the bikes while they were doing last minute......well I'm not sure what they were doing lol!

Annie

Caprie

Okay, this is my favorite!!! Josh is helping Wes reverse because he can barely touch the ground! This could be a disaster. Hahahahaha (Wes is going to kill me)!!!

Annie still can't believe her dad is actually going to do this!

Caprie still can't believe this is her dad!

Making sure Wes know were they are headed....

...and still getting him ready:)!!!

And they're off!!! Have fun dad, we love you!!!

Express Dance Co. '06-'08

As Annie prepares for her 3rd year of dancing, I just want to tell her how proud I am of her accomplishments. She loves to dance and cheer and tries her best to do what the teachers ask of her. It is so much fun going to all her performances, recitals, and competitions!!! Her past instructor, Camille Draper, has retired so her asst. Crystal Hanley will take over. She is now a part of Prestige Dance Studio. Good luck this year and I love you Annie!!!
I need to add that Annie fell asleep right after we got her ready to perform; she is not posing:). I felt so bad waking her up.

Caprie's First Birthday~July 13~

We celebrated Caprie's first birthday at G'ma and G'pa Thomas' house. Annie helped decorate the cake and boy did it look FABULOUS!! I love these pictures. Check out the picture in the bottom left corner. Annie kissed Caprie after she had cake all over her face!!

Caprie is tons of fun and definately keeps up on our toes!! But I'm still not sure if she is "keeping us young" or aging us 10 years!!!

July 4th in Raft River, Idaho

We were able to spend the 4th of July in Raft River and Pocatello this year with cousins from the McNeill and Thomas families. It was incredible...well, just look at the pictures...need I say more?

July 2008

This is our one set of Family Pictures. We took a million pictures and Caprie is crying in most of them. We figured that would make any photographer uptight, so we took our own. Thank heaven for self-timers!!!

Summer Kickoff!!

We have always enjoyed escaping to Mesquite, NV to enjoy the beautiful weather and spend time together. We have only went once this summer which makes us sad, but with our new job as Hotel Managers we have our very own pool!!!! We make it a regular habit to swim and the kids think it is AWESOME!!!

Morgan & Heidi's Wedding~June 7, 2008~

My brother Morgan was just married in June, so I thought I would pay tribute to the newlyweds. Heidi Wiley is from Florida and very proud of it. We have loved her from day 1. She is such an awesome person and we love her very much (we would pretty much trade Morgan for her)!! The family decided to drive to Provo the night before to shop, dine out, decorate, mingle, and whatever else we could think of. We stayed up late getting the church ready, but we sure had a fun time getting to know her family. Here are some of our memories....
